EVENT: DEADSTRING BROTHERS
DATE: SATURDAY MAY 25
Euclid Records is excited to announce the first live performance inside its new location. The Deadstring Brothers will play a set of fierce and powerhouse rock’n’country at 5 pm Saturday, May 25 on the stage at Euclid Records, now located at 19 N. Gore. The performance is free and open to the public.
The Deadstring Brothers are led by founding member, and singer/songwriter/guitarist Kurt Marschke, who has worked with a revolving cast over the course of five albums in the last ten years. Their new album, Cannery Row, is as good as anything they’ve done, earning accolades from the rock press and receiving airplay on St. Louis community radio station KDHX. The Detroit band has also made numerous appearances in St. Louis over the last ten years, developing a loyal local audience.
Euclid Records has been in its new location at 19 N. Gore in Webster Groves since May 1. The 2-story building is home more than 100,000 records and CDs on two floors. The performance stage was moved from the old location and installed on the first floor of the new, so live music should take on an especially intimate and close connection to the audience.
